Tuna Melt
This recipe packs in the flavor! It doesn't hurt to have homemade sourdough every day thanks to my husband!
Combine:
25 oz. of tuna (drained)
½ of one white onion diced
¾ cup mayo
1 tablespoon dill relish
1 tablespoon dijon
¼ teaspoon dried dill
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon crystal hot sauce
⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
⅛ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
In a buttered pan, stack: bread, cheese, tuna salad, cheese, bread. Brown on each side until the cheese is melty and enjoy!!!
P.S.
I prefer solid white tuna if you have the budget for it, but we don't right now, so we used chunk light tuna for this. This combination of seasonings definitely upgraded the chunk light tuna!
