Chicken with Lemon, Garlic & Chardonnay, Couscous
Brown in a pan:
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons butter
2 lbs chicken breasts seasoned with
2 Tablespoons Badia complete seasoning
Set aside after browned on both sides.
Add to pan:
Mix together:
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup dry white wine
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chicken base
½ teaspoon white pepper
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
1 teaspoon granulated onion
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
4 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup milk or cream
Bring to a boil and the add:
3 cups pearl couscous
Add chicken back in and simmer for 10 minutes.
Top with grated parmesan and green onions or chopped fresh parsley.
