Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff


Easy! Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff 


This was really easy. I love passive cooking when you just pop everything in the crockpot and walk away for a few hours.  Just serve it with your favorite starch. You can even serve it over potatoes to make a gluten-free!


Recipe:


In the crockpot on low for 3 to 4 hours:


4 tablespoons olive oil

2-3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts,

6 tablespoons (2 packets) gravy mix

4 tablespoons butter

1 yellow onion, diced

8 oz baby bella mushrooms, diced

4 garlic cloves, minced

½ teaspoon Kosher salt

½ teaspoon paprika

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon chicken base

1 fresh or dried bay leaf

2 cups water

1 cup dry white wine

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


Add in at the end:

1 cup of whole sourcream 

1 Tablespoon parsley

 

Serve over noodles or your favorite pasta or potatoes!
