Overnight (Crockpot) Red Wine Braised Beef Roast


SO SO GOOD. Just dump everything in the crockpot on low and go to bed or go to work! We serve it either by itself, over potatoes or egg noodles with some crusty bread to absorb the delicious sauce. It is so flavorful and delicious and so easy! It also makes a lot so you can meal-prep it into smaller containers and have it for the week! 


Here's the recipe:


In the crockpot on LOW for 8-12 hours

3-5 pound Beef Round Roast (divided into 3rds) 

¼ cup olive oil

½ cup roughly sliced green onions

1 cup sliced carrots

1 package of brown mushrooms, sliced

2 onions (I did one red one yellow)

8 cloves of garlic

1 package (.7 oz) Italian dressing mix

1 package brown gravy mix

2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

1 tablespoons onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup Malbec wine 

1-2 cups chicken or beef broth

½ cup heavy cream (at the end but is totally optional!)
