The easiest barbecue pulled chicken sandwich you will ever make! (Crockpot!)
I'm going through a shredded meat phase because we have been busy, it is so easy and so satisfying.
This recipe is super simple but the few additions to the barbecue sauce make a big difference in the end product! Just throw it on a bun or bread and add a salad and you have a fast, nutritious but hearty meal for your family. Here's the recipe.
Recipe:
2-3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
1 tablespoon chicken base
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup or more barbecue sauce
(we used Sweet Baby Rays Original)
1 tablespoon granulated onion
½ teaspoon parika
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2-3 hours in the crockpot until it shreds and serve over your favorite bread.
