The Most Tender Overnight Rump Roast
The most tender overnight rump roast ever!
What's also nice is when it's done, it's ready to be served as a stew with some crusty bread or over mashed potatoes. It's super easy and has very few ingredients. Just pop it in the crockpot before you go to bed and you have food for the next day. Enjoy!
Recipe:
In the crockpot on low:
2 tablespoons olive oil
2-3 lbs trimmed rump roast
1-2 tablespoon Italian herb mix
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups baby carrots
2 two yellow onions, chopped
1 cup, dry, white or red wine
2 packets (total 1.6 oz) brown gravy mix
Add in later:
Sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 cup sliced green onions (optional)
10 hours later it's ready to be lightly shredded and is ready to go! You can put it in thermoses for lunch or save it for dinner.
