THE Turkey Meatloaf
What makes his meatloaf so delicious is pre-sautéing all of the ingredients and then adding them to the meat before baking.
This is the best meatloaf we have ever tasted. It also made the best meatloaf sandwiches.
Recipe
Sauté in a pan:
1 ½ cup diced onions
¾-1 cup diced celery
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon kosher salt
⅛ red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon dried chives
1 teaspoon ground sage
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon dried rosemary
½ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup wine
Combine:
3 lbs 85% lean ground turkey
3 eggs
2 cups panko bread crumbs
Pan onion mixture
Form into two loaves on a baking sheet or into 1 inch meatballs.
Bake at 350° until internal temperature reaches 165°
Serve with your favorite side dishes.
Makes incredible meatloaf sandwiches.
